About SEZA

Special Economic Zones Authority (SEZA) Botswana, is a parastatal under the Ministry of  Trade and Entrepreneurship established through the Special Economic Zones Act of 2015. SEZA began operating in April 2018. Mandate To Establish, Develop and Regulate Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Botswana.

Brand The triangle is symbolic of the gold standard safe environment where dynamic business and increased economic prosperity for Botswana is created. The purple depicts a noble environment where respect for all and a positive attitude is nurtured.
Mission Our job at SEZA is to guide, develop, deliver, and grow the SEZ’s by delivering investor friendly services which enable, facilitate, and promote real and value added investment in Botswana.
Vision By 2023 SEZA will be seen as a trusted partner in creation of real diversified, inclusive sustainable economic growth through the effective delivery of Botswana’s SEZ programme.
